My first divorce attorney stopped practicing in the middle of an unnecessarily contentious divorce. I am so fortunate to have stumbled into hiring Melissa (you too Alva!). Melissa was always there for me and continues to be. I wanted her to stand up for the kids and me but not go beyond what was fair. Melissa has done that. She doesn't perpetuate the conflict for her personal profit like some attorneys and is not afraid to tell me her opinion even when she knows I disagree.
