Loaded with ambience (and renovations were even underway) the place was terrific: service was very friendly and efficient, the decor is amazing, someone told me it was the first licensed establishment in NZ. Now to the food: DO NOT miss the oysters, we had them two ways: 1) natural with aged white balsamic infused with white truffle oil, and 2) with a delicious garlic crumb - they were both so good, I m going back to NZ just so I can visit again and order them. Then I had the seafood chowder, simply the best I've ever had! All capped off with a bottle of NZ white and it was a brilliant lunch!
