Tom Ayto Review of Intertur Hoteles a Aparthotele...

We arrived at around 3am and was greeted by an elderly man on the reception desk, after talking to him for several minutes and noticing that he was taking incredibly long to get us all booked into our rooms, we realized that he was surely drunk, he smelt strongly of alcohol and had a lot of trouble getting his sentences out. We were in the reception for a solid hour before the man finally gave us our keys and wristbands. He gave silver wristbands (18+ wristbands) to two of us that were 16 and 17, and did not check to make sure we were of age.
The hotel itself however, is beautiful, very modern and pleasing to look at, the location was great and very close to any activities/shops we were interested in. The food was very nice, there was always a decent selection, the chefs and waiters were always polite and friendly and it made for a good time.
The pool was always very crowded, there were so many people cramped into such a small place it became very difficult to enjoy my time spent there. It was normally very loud and I at times found it more relaxing and enjoyable to just sit in my room for the majority of the day.
When it came to the evening it was a whole other story, it wasn't as crowded around the bar by the outside pool so it was quite easy to find a seat and sit down with your friends/family, however the night entertainment made it impossible to enjoy having a relaxing evening at the hotel. It was always incredibly loud to the point where you had to shout just to be able to hear each other. Going to the upstairs bar wasn't any help either as it's even more packed and equally as loud.
The majority of the staff were polite, food was great, hotel was visually appealing, but this was far from a relaxing holiday by the sea.
