The Teatro Sociale is a pre pride of the city of Como for the great historical and architectural value was born in the year they were born Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner (1813). On the evening of August 28, 1813 rose for the first time the curtain of the theater. The actual painting of the vault of the ceiling, representing the muses that descend from Olympus to crown the artists, is the work of Eleuterio Pagliano designed by Gaetano Spelluzzi, carried out during the restoration of 1855.
The room currently has the shape of a cello case and the sides have a wooden structure with 5 levels of seats of which: 3 orders for 72 boxes of private property, in addition to the royal box, and 2 orders for tunnels (IV and V order).
