Probably the most iconic place of Barcelona, La Sagrada Familia was designed by the great architect Antoni Gaudi. The construction started in 1882 and is still under way today. The inside of the basilica as well as 2 of the 3 facades is complete and the place is without question well worth the visit. The inside is magnificently bright and colorful so the whole place is very unique when comparing to other churches I have visited. Be sure to grab audioguide to learn more about architectural decisions behind this great place. Also it is suggested to buy tickets online to save the time and money as queues tend to get quite long to the ticket office. Make sure to dress according to church rules or you might risk the certainty of entrance.
