We did a grand tour of the National Parks last summer July 2020 from Mesa Verde, Arches, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and across to Mount Rushmore before heading back to Denver. We saw this site on our route and knew we had to stop here. And it was definitely the best little stop we had. As a prehistoric buff, we loved the site, the dig and the little video. What surprised us most, however, was just how reasonable the gift shop was here. We actually ended up getting something for all our friends and family from here for their souvenirs, instead of cheap t-shirts. They had a wide variety of gifts to suit all ages and types of people. Not just dinosaur/mammoth buffs.
