As with all public attractions dealing with the general public here was a bit of a headache. That being said the zoo itself was definitely worth the price. It is very large and a great place to spend an afternoon, there is a wide array of exhibits but unfortunately there are a few extras that are not included with general admission. If you are looking for something to do for an extended afternoon this is a nice choice.
