We always knew that we would reach out to our neig...

We always knew that we would reach out to our neighborhood realtor, Eric Stewart, when we were ready to sell our family home, at very least for an interview. We were the original, long time owners of the house and had had numerous interactions with Eric, everything from the local swim team to serving as election judges together, as well as long recipients of his yearly apple butter or yard stick marketing campaigns. But we didn't hire Eric because he is such a nice guy (though he surely is). We hired him because of his strategy for selling our home, his very detailed marketing plan, and his proactiveness in getting us connected with a stager, photographer and contractors even before we had agreed to work with him.
At every stage, we were well connected with members of his team, who were quickly responsive to any questions or needs, but important to us, it was hands on from Eric who was personally selling our home.
We had the added complication of selling during the spring of covid19 and as an owner occupied home, we were especially concerned about precautions that would be taken. Eric made sure that shoe covers were available for all showings along with hand sanitizer for visitors and we felt comfortable returning to our home afterwards.
Hindsight being what it is, we may have netted a little bit more money from the sale had we been a few months later in the selling year, but we came close to our asking price and sold to a family who was very excited to have our home, which felt right to us. Eric facilitated a distanced walk thru and closing and the paperwork was all handled with ease.
My husband and I felt Eric was fair with us, was honest and open in all regards and working with him was a pleasure. He went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied in all our dealings and we would recommend him without reservation!
