Since I was little I have visited this resort with my family making countless memories and falling in love with evey aspect of this resort. When me and my fiance got engaged we knew right away we wanted to get married at Lutsen Resort! We were so excited and signed our contract on 6/16/20 to get married there on 6/19/21. On 7/7/20 we went and met with Ana the Director or group sale, she answered all our questions we had. She knew our dogs were going to be a huge part of our ceremony and went over the pet friendly stay options. We decided a cabin would be the best for for us and our 2 Labrador Retrievers( clean well behaved fur children). So we asked Ana to put the pet friendly cabin in our block of rooms, she happily did so we thought. Last week I reached out to the resort regarding some questions I had regarding our block. This is when I learned that the only pet friendly cabin at the resort wasn't in our block but it had already booked out for the weekend of our wedding. I emailed the new Event Coordinator with my concerns and she said nothing could be done but recommended the main lodge or the sea villas. I am upset and devastated to say the least. My vision destroyed. Every thing was already planned around us staying in a cabin for the weekend bridal suites ect...I'm upset nothing more could be done.
