The level of service from the chambermaids to your staff at the Horizon Lounge is, as always, excellent! I have been a regular "Golden Circle" guest at the Shangri-La, Yangon since 2012 (then known as "Traders Hotel") and even at the Shangri-La, New Delhi as recent as on the 31st May 2018. In particular, I like to make special mention of Ms Cho Zin and Ms Khin of the Horizon Club who made us feel so welcome and comfortable with their warm, caring and impeccable service. All the other staff of your hotel who served us in one way or another also deserved our grateful appreciation and warm thanks.

Perhaps, I can offer here 3 suggestions to help you further elevate your already high standards of facilities and sterling service:

1. My wife and I both felt some discomfort and pain in both our lower backs (lumbar position) after sleeping on your King-sized bed on the two evenings that we stayed there. Perhaps, a slightly firmer, more orthopedic mattress might have helped to prevent our discomfort.

2. We would have enjoyed the clean bathroom more, had there been a separate glass shower stall independent of the bathtub. Right now, both are integrated with the use of an old-fashioned shower curtain and it is not so convenient to "climb" up and down of the bathtub every time we needed to take a shower.

3. When we first checked into our room (no. 2210), the red lounge sofa against the window was pushed right up against the wall on the left side. I had to physically shift it to the middle of the window to enjoy the spectacular view of the Shwedagon Pagoda and the city. Also, if this sofa could be in the form of a 3-sided shape like the one we found in the Delhi Shangri-La, it would have been perfect. The small L-shaped support for our backs at one corner was really insufficient as only one of us could enjoy it at any one time and not both.

Thank you to you and your staff for an otherwise excellent stay at the Sule Shangri-La, Yangon!
