I have applied for a loan twice and I have never had issues with Student Aid.

I can't speak for other people, but I personally do not understand all the negative reviews. I have applied for a loan twice with Student Aid and both times have had no issues. They have processed everything I have sent in very quickly (I have sent things by fax, in person, and on the website) and thankfully it has been fairy quickly and straightforward.

Sometimes you have to wait on the phone for a bit but last time I called I only waited about 20-30 mins and the representative was very polite and helpful. Don't let the negative reviews worry you too much!
