I used their service for a few years and was happy with it, but then management changed and their service tanked. If this review was solely based on the post management change then I would rate 2 stars. I believe I was an easy to work with customer, I brought a lot of business, and I always made prompt payments. Some of the work I provided them was having over 100 trees planted, regrading two acres, building berms, digging a pond, and routine cleanup and trimming around the house. After the management change I felt as if they viewed me as a nuisance customer. I was told that they typically do commercial work and it was implied that they did not want my business because I was a residential customer. Although this was residential work, the scope of my project was probably larger than most of their commercial clients. Plus I continued to see their trucks at residential properties in the area. I still had other projects I wanted them to work on but they started to become unresponsive. There was still one tree under warranty which did not survive. I followed up several times over a 6 month period and was told it was on order. After following up a couple more times and receiving no responses they pushed me out from being a customer and never explained why. This was extremely unprofessional of them. I have been working with a new landscaping company the past year and they had to do some corrections to mistakes that Love Landscaping made. Quite a few trees were planted too high which caused them to die. Some were put in poor locations where they should have been in wetter/drier locations based on the type of tree. There was a group of approximately 15 evergreens that Love planted before they became unresponsive. About 40% of those trees did not make it. There was no follow up from them to check how they were doing after they were planted and perhaps more of them could have been saved. I hope someone at Love's sees this review and gives me a proper explanation of why they started ignoring me after being a good customer of theirs.
