We visited Harvest for lunch on Thanksgiving.
Harvest Thanksgiving lunch menu is quite popular, as we learnt from follow diners who have been visiting this place for a decade or so.
Our experience, however, was a tad bit underwhelming. To start off, we were given a choice between waiting for 15-20 minutes or sitting, all alonw, in the open verandah, which by the way is lovely and had it been a sunny fall afternoon, we would have been imensely happy. But it was 40 degrees and the overhead heat radiators and the giant fire place couldn't keep us sufficiently warm.
That aside, the food was good. Not exceptional but on par with our expectations.
The three courses covered all the Thanksgiving staples. Between the two of us, we tried the shrimo cocktail (mediocre), pasta with onion and beef sauce (good), turkey breast ( exceptional), raspberry cheesecake (good) and apple pie(mediocre).
At $72 per person, the meal wasn't exactly cheap.
We aren't, if we will be back there again next year.
