I've lived here for just over six years. I love the people, the programs, the maintenance-free living. There is such an atmosphere of respect and caring among the residents here. It's more than a community, it's a family. I've been able to use my organizational skills to manage, upgrade and staff our campus Clothes Closet, which sells gently-used clothing for ladies and gentlemen. It's so rewarding and even more meaningful because all the proceeds go to our Benevolent Care, which provides funds for those residents who have outlived their resources. After 54 years in nursing, I never imagined I'd be managing a clothing thrift store. It keeps me out of trouble and dresses me well for a pittance!
