While in college, our class went to the Los Alamos...

While in college, our class went to the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The laboratory gave us a tour of some projects they undertook post-cold war. Technology used during the cold war was repurposed for civilian projects. One cold war project they showed us was an electron gun they were studying to find medical uses. It is interesting to look back at this tour and see how it has impacted cancer.
