Check in was the worst I have ever experienced. Initially my booking for 2 rooms could not be traced and I was told that I should check it out myself, the person serving me then walked away and started other work. I had to call her back and ask for a manager, who was also most unhelpful. When I told them the service was unacceptable the server simply laughed and walked away. They said they could not find my Hilton Honours membership number either even though I showed them my email containing the details. Eventually I was told to go and sit down with again no explanation, when she did eventually come to find us and give us the room details, she could offer no exanation as to why the problem had occurred, did not offer any apology and did not even tell us where the breakfast room was or about any other of the hotel facilities. Overall I found this experience most embarrassing, most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with and this has given me a very bad impression of this hotel. This was a real shame as I have in the past always enjoyed staying with the Hilton group.
