My very first time being in a shelter and my worst...

My very first time being in a shelter and my worst experience in my life!!!!! they do not like people because of the color of their skin. They are very nasty and can care less about your situation. They talk down on your children and will not put heat on in the shelter if you are BLACK!!! YES BLACK!!!! They withhold your mail and after 30 days you are not permitted on their property. You have chores as if you are in a orphanage ( scrubbing walls, baseboards, mop floors,WASH WINDOWS... etc..) They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and lack economical or racial education. You are not allowed to bring electronics or toys inside and they have to go somewhere you will be on "LOCK DOWN" UNTIL THEY RETURN. I WILL NOT recommend anyone who is going through any DOMESTIC VIOLENCE to attend this shelter. IF I COULD GIVE THE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!!!
