Had no idea that there was so much history with the arch! I d honestly have to say the experience was a bit anticlimactic for me tho. I think I expected to be able to take a family photo with the city view in the background. Getting to the top only to discover that we could only look through small windows was a little disappointing. There were also way too many people up there to even move around comfortably. I m sure the view could be obtained by my hotel window. The wait for the tram ride was entertaining because our tour guide was charming. Carter was great and knowledgeable.
