I've been to plenty of zoos and so far this one was the most beautiful and well maintained. The animals had large, clean enclosures, but they were still easy to spot and watch from a distance. Animals were also extremely active and eager to explore. There was a lot of great information about each animal as well. The staff were friendly and happy to explain specific animals and very helpful.

The entire zoo is green with plenty of shade, food, and things to buy. The Oregon Zoo is a great place to take children. Overall a wonderful place to explore!
