BEWARE plain and simple.

BEWARE plain and simple.
My daughters birthday is in a couple of days, and I've been dealing with these people for over 3 weeks trying to get a custom cake for her birthday. From the very beginning the shop itself was poorly run, we came in to try and speak with a manager or a cake decorator about availability and possibly design a cake together. Right off the bat we were told the manager isn't here and we don't know when they will be here and we don't have a schedule for them.
I'm sorry what? What kind of business doesn't have a set schedule for their employees, come to find out the owner was the manager. We were told to email them with pictures and they would get back to me. Little did I know that I wouldn't get a response for well over a week, a week of constant calling, leaving messages, my contact info etc.
Once I finally got a response I was shocked that they wouldn't schedule a time for my family to come in and talk to a decorator and try to design a cake to our liking, instead we kept getting told to just email pictures of what we wanted as if we wanted to replicate an exact cake. I obliged, emailed my specifications such as -all buttercream, no fondant, which characters we wanted etc. Please explain to me how NO fondant means fondant figures and toppers and more that resulted in a price tag of over $500!!!! No. It's a birthday cake, not a wedding cake. And it was not original, nor was it what we asked for initially. I emailed back stating I didn't need the figurines and I ended up getting a phone call as to not leave an email trail, we went back and forth trying to figure out what they could actually do -seeing that the cake decorator isn't inclined in buttercream decor- his words not mine (mind you the decorator is his own wife). We ended the call with him saying they would come back to me with new drawings and new estimates on pricing. Never got anything back just an email asking asking if we were still interested--after I emailed to let them know we would be coming in to talk to them see what sketches they had and to place the deposit!

All while this was going on my husband was trying to get ahold of the manager as well and was completely ignored and his messages went unanswered and possibly discarded for over a week!

Now, yesterday we kept our word and drove all the away from katy to sugarland yet again to attempt to speak with them in person and AS SOON AS THE MANAGER SAW US HE BOLTED THROUGH THE BACK!!!!! We were greeted by the most unfriendly and rude employee telling us that she couldn't do anything for us because there was nothing she could do for us as there were no sketches, notes, or even a quote!
We were literally told to go elsewhere for our cake!!
A WEEK PRIOR TO THE DATE NEEDED!!!!!!
After going through this entire ordeal we got left with nothing! Every other bakery required at least two weeks and these people literally screwed us over a week before we needed the cake!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!
