Several years ago. I should have written this earlier. About a couple years ago. In early April, I brought in my (Genuine) 2008 Stella (manual 4 speed) to be serviced for her yearly checkup. I waited for one month for her to be completed. She wasn't totally fixed. A little minor thing but, it is still valid. The light beam was stuck in high beam. I am still waiting for the electronic start to come in. They told me. "It was on back order."
I paid the bill because I just wanted her home. I got the feeling. The Service Department mananger just to get her out of there make room.
I rode her for about 1 month her clutch cable broke In my opinion, someone should have checked it to see if the cable was frayed or something.
Every since Scooterville moved away from selling less scooters & moved towards selling more motorcycles. After several head mechanics changes, I get the feeling that they don't want to work on older (manual) scooters. On their website as of May 2019, they have manual 4 speed 2005 Atomic Stella. If you buy it, be careful to have it service by them. Several years ago, Genuine Motors no longer selling (or making) any Stella models.
