Is this Winnipeg s oldest Mexican restaurant? Quite possibly. A fixture in Osborne Village since the days when the sidewalks were crowded with hippies and the air smelt of patchouli and the unwashed. The food continues not to disappoint and the beer is cold. The margaritas are in the small size (but maybe all the big glasses were dirty that night). Sort of handicap accessible but there will be some challenges.
I have just been told it only opened in the mid eighties but my memories of the village have always included Carlos & Murphy s
