From the time I checked in till I left...my room, service, food and attention to detail were perfect! I stayed in the Penthouse Suite that overlooks Downtown Houston and the view is breathtaking with a private patio that is the perfect spot for a special weekend get-a-way or your own party. The food and beverage offerings are diverse and delish for whatever you might desire. I especially enjoy craft libations in the Lobby served up by Mix Master Oscar who created fresh fruit juice cocktails and mock-tails that are amazing!! I loved his fresh cantaloupe, watermelon and pineapple mix creations. And for us Astros Fans, Oscar mixed special "Stros Love" signature cocktails! I also give high praise to Martin Montana who makes sure your dining and beverage desires are met on a one on one truly personal basis. Not like a cookie cutter hotel! And the Gym is state of the art including free weights. Between all the great food and drink, you can get in a work-out to stave off those extra pounds. The hotel is located in the heart of Downtown near Minute Maid Park, Bars and other area FUN! So, you can enjoy yourself without having to worry about driving anywhere!! This location is perfect for Visitors and Houstonians looking to enjoy a night out in HTown. Overall, my week-end vacay at the Hotel Icon Houston is a dream stay. I highly recommend this hotel for visitors and for those who live in The Bayou City who are looking for a Stay-Cation. I will definitely be back for More Iconic Hospitality!!
