Since I do not like all types of art, I found some buildings boring but that's just me. All buildings and grounds were clean and organized. It was a little crowded but expected on a holiday. My wife and daughters really enjoyed our afternoon there. We hand lunch, that we brought on the green lawn in the center of the museum grounds. The La Brea tar pits are outside the museum on the same property.
