I seem to live and breathe in the place 24-7 ( I work and volunteer as a Supervising Full Responder and Field Trainer for the DAT Response Department), so my comment here could be considered as bias. But I will state this: it is a fact that the ARC provides services that help bring countless others out of despair and into resolve. Be it responding to fires and vacates, collecting donated blood for those in greater need, providing free fire alarms to the less fortunate, or offering and teaching necessary training and skills to those looking to also make a tremendous difference, the American Red Cross in Greater New York is certainly an entity or organization that strives in the field of absolute optimism and overall benefit to those living in the greater NY area. Again, that is a fact. Ya heard?!
