The positive in advance: the staff is very friendly and helpful!
Unfortunately, this positive impression does not extend equally to the rooms and the breakfast. The room was unfortunately only reasonably clean (black mold residue in the shower, cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling). Our room, like all rooms, was on the first floor. Since it went out to the back, we had a flat roof in front of the window that could be walked on - and unfortunately also constantly rushing air outlets from, as I suspect, air conditioning systems.
Unfortunately, our room was not air-conditioned and the night, due to the daytime temperature of 35 degrees, could only be endured with the window open. The noise was always present, furthermore the possibility that someone is looking through the window at any time.
But we were really unlucky because the smoke detector triggered false alarms twice during the night. The latter affected all rooms, since it was centrally controlled. The staff was probably quite embarrassed, but there was no official statement / apology / reparation the next day.
The breakfast buffet was rather careless with cold scrambled eggs. A little more attention to the condition of the buffet would have been desirable.
Since we had booked two nights with breakfast and 3-course menu via Groupon and therefore saved over 50% of the normal price, we were all in all just about satisfied. However, it would never have been worth the price that is charged according to the hotel website on the Internet.
