The customer service had much to be desired. I visited for the first time last Thursday, an again this past Monday, both times Chef Rob, and I assume his manager, were both there. I didnt even know who he was, although he was sitting right over near the bar, and walking to and from the kitchen. There was No eye contact, no smile, or introduction to any of the guests from either one, nor a warm welcome from anyone, including the servers, which was very disappointing. This explains the servers lack of great customer service. I try and support all of my local black businesses, but unfortunately these are some of the reasons why it's such a challenge. The food was good, however, the 18% tip charge is automatically applied, which is definitely not warranted given their attitude. Because of that, they missed my 20% plus tip, which is always given when I enjoy a great restaurant experience. Unfortunately, I will not be referring them to my clients and friends, or returning back there.
