We didn't ride (small children), but there was a lot to see and do at the Depot and Roundhouse. My kids loved it as much as I did, especially the Roundhouse Museum. If you don't want to ride, you can still see the train go, as it parallels the highway for quite a while, with a wide shoulder where you can pull off and watch it.
