I booked an apointment at 10:40 through the official apple website. Then waited outside for over an hour in the rain (then had to leave). I contacted them via email and they stated that a keyboard repair would take 7-10 days.

This statement "On average the repair itself is around 2 hours before an additional hour and a half of post diagnostics" and the statement from apple "this is a priority for Apple, and we encourage our repair partners to complete the work within 24-48 hours".

I have reported them to apple support as they are clearly letting down the ethos of the support contract they have with Apple.
