Any dealer associated with Gary Seegan, Ken Howey,...

Any dealer associated with Gary Seegan, Ken Howey, and The Berge Auto Group cannot be trusted. They sold my wife a 2017 Mazda3 with faulty safety sensors that fail in Arizona when the temperature gets too warm. We waited three months for it to be fixed and the repair they completed didn't fix anything. All they did was install a software update to prevent the error codes from making us return to the dealer to have them reset. They did not replace the sensors. We were instructed that when it gets too warm we would need to pull over, turn off our vehicle, and wait for the sensors to "cool down before resuming operation. These sensors control critical safety features that we paid thousands of extra dollars for as part of their upgraded safety package. They control lane departure prevention, blind spot warnings, adaptive cruise control, and driver alertness. We told Berge Mazda and the service manager, Ken Howey, that the "solution" they offered was unacceptable. Either Mazda needed to replace the sensors so that they would work regardless of our summer months or we wanted our money back. They told us the sensors were "working as designed". Ken Howey threatened to call the police and report the loaner vehicle they gave us to use as stolen if we didn't return it the next day and take possession of our still unfixed and dangerous to drive Mazda3. He also told us Mazda Corporate would contact us within days to discuss buying back our lease. If took over two weeks and a dozen calls to finally get ahold of Mazda Corporate. We contacted the general manager , Gary Seegan, and he said there was "nothing more he could do for us" and that he would never buy back our vehicle because it wouldn't be fair for his company to lose money on the deal. He claimed there was nothing he could do to help any further, his biggest bold faced lie. The bottom line is this, Gary Seegan would rather put my wife back into a car with faulty safety sensors than lose money. He cares more about the almighty buck than the safety of his customers. He is a greedy, selfish liar. Do not under any circumstances buy a vehicle from a company who puts the importance of your safety lower than that of their revenue. We are in the process of filing a civil suit again him and his dealership and starting a class action lawsuit again Mazda.
