Called on the phone about a leaking hot water heater - expected to have to replace it (installed 2006), but the man on the phone told me I "99% needed to replace it" and quoted me $2,400 for a 40 gallon tank. I asked what make, model, and warranty, and he did not have any of that information. I just had the job completed by Diliberto Plumbing for less than half that price that same day.
