Nice place to spend a couple of hours, sadly when we visited the butterfly house and aviary were both closed. We weren't informed of this until we'd walked all the way to them at the bottom of the gardens and down steep hills. They were also installing all of the xmas lights, so workmen everywhere... But from what we could see, the evening walks they do should look great when switched on.

They have a nice if rather expensive cafe, with some nice views across the garden if you can grab one of the limited seats near a window.
