The decor is beautiful and one certainly does feel like stepping back in time. The food is a great disappointment. It is actually below good pub grub standard and even what one could could rustle up at home. The deserts are average to poor. The ice cream I got with the strudel was cheapish and well below Haagen-Dasz standard which is shocking given the price. My girlfriend got a chocolate and Grand Marnier fudge cake which was not fresh and just a tiny sliver slapped on a plate. Worth a visit for a cup of tea only. Skip the food. It has clearly been overlooked.
