This hotel is ideally located close to the Casino and Canal Street and close to the French Quarter. Great views from the rooms and amazing lobby bar with terrific views of the Mississippi since it s on the 11th floor. My room was nice and recently remodelled, but if you missed the morning pass for house keeping as you want to sleep in you have to chase them down as a result my room was not serviced one day I was there and I had to ask for the second day. The restaurant food was great for breakfast but service was slow and we waited a while to be seated. Also, it can be quite loud when the train passes or steamboat blows its horn at 2am but I guess that s why the give you ear plugs.
