In March 11, 2021 Breecia Hartman of SDHC contacted my family through email in regards to an available unit in a building located off 44th ave near Fairmount Ave. We submitted the applications, Identification, Income, Rental verification forms signed by our current landlord electronucally. We also printed the forms and the $60 for the application fee in drop box located at 4391 Rl Cajon Blvd Charlen Lizardi was the person of contact and the building On-site Property Manager. She delayed processing (I have all the emails) our applications. I reported my concerns to the SDHC Ombudsman program via the SDHC website. I was informed by email that a Kyesha Smith would process our applications, however she suddenly needed to leave the office, before she could process them. Now our applications were given to a Shirley Robinson and she did not process them either. We did receive an email from Kristin Molloy of Kimball, Tirey &ST. John, LLP informing us that we lied on our application about being evicted and SDHC were unable to reach our current landlord. We have a copy of the original online rental report that was supplied by SDHC processed April 2, 2021 it has nothing about evictions. Also we have a text message from our landlord requesting a different to contact SDHC to verify our residence and an email to Kyesha Smith requesting a different phone number for rental confirmation. Kyesha Smith never responded. I reported it HUD they stated they cannot assist me and because of this on April 12, 2021 our credit has been damaged. We are native Americans and maybe this has a lot to do with our experience with the SDHC. I have even attempted to reach out to Richard Gentry, with no success. This would had been a great opportunity for our tribe to save money and purchase a home in the future. Welp on to another dream...
