The switch from VDSL to fiber was very quick and seamless. If anyone is having an issue with speed (especially on wifi) I would look into getting a good AC router, like the Asus RT-AC68U. Most wifi issues can be fixed by using the much less crowded 5Ghz band.

Edit: 4 months later and the speed and uptime are still great. For those people who are saying their connection is bad: what kind of router are you using?
