If I could give 0 stars, I would! My son is be discharged from Intensive In Home Therapy this coming Friday, so I needed an out patient therapist. I called them three weeks before the call yesterday to give them my son's insurance: Primary, which is a private insurance, and Secondary, which is Medicaid (has a Medicaid Waiver). They told me that they would run his insurance and then they would assign him a therapist, which they did almost a week later. A week and a half ago (from yesterday), we did an intake with the therapist and my son was supposed to start with him on this Friday. We get a call yesterday at 4:20 pm to tell us that they do not do Medicaid as a secondary insurance and they can't help us. I asked if they could separate the two insurance, so we could pay the copay on the primary insurance (we would have just done primary insurance, if they could not do the secondary insurance, if they had told me) ( and they charged me the primary insurance copay for the intake, which is not being returned I'm sure), and I was told that since it was documented, they couldn't. When I spoke into the therapist, tell me that my son was being discharged tomorrow (can't do IIH and out patient the same day, which is why I gave him the Wednesday date) and he needs therapy, the response was he could check with his supervisor and we paid out of pocket. They are in network provider for my primary insurance, but they want me to pay the full amount out of pocket. With this poor action of this company, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!
