Made reservations more than 4 months in advance and asked about couches that made into beds and was told they did not have any. Reserved 4 rooms since family was meeting me there. Was not told construction was planned but should be completed by our scheduled time to visit.

The week before we were scheduled to arrive called to verify and modify reservations down to three rooms. I was told about an upgrade which would be slightly more without advising me there was currently major construction being done in the lobby area all the way to the elevators. If I had not taken the upgrade my original rooms would have not taken me through the construction area. The upgrade had sofas which made out to beds (first deception) and was told the living room was separate from the bedroom (by a half wall, second deception).

Checking into the hotel the front desk still did not mention the construction and I again verified all the rooms were in close proximity to each other, in the same hallway within doors or each other. Walking to the elevators over uneven floors with strips of carpeting not secured to the floor, wires hanging out of the ceiling and unfinished walls plus no lightning. My daughter tripped and wrenched her knee on the uneven floors - no we did not file a claim. I had to come back down to the front desk since the rooms we were assigned to were in different hallways not even close to each other.

In using the shuttle the cost was not disclosed until someone asked and we were all seated in the vehicle which was a flat fee for anything over 1 mile per person - unbelievable!

In checking out our room was split between two different credit cards but they put a hold on the one card for the entire amount even though the amounts agreed to at the front desk have both been charged and credited back to the hotel for the correct amounts. Effectively charging the one card for the entire amount and being told when I called about this and spoke with Laurie who has worked there for 16 years that the bank has to release the hold she cannot. I am an accountant and the hold has to be released by the entity placing the hold it is not released by the financial institution.

Deception, deception, deception!!! Be warned and beware...
