A charming hotel with very friendly staff and within walking distance to many of Charleston's attractions. Our only complaint is the noise level from the street and surrounding bars/nightlife. I'm writing this at 1:50 a.m. and loud music from a nearby bar just ended a few minutes ago. I would only hesitate recommending Francis Marion to someone who values a decent night's sleep, especially if you need rest before traveling the next day.
