The interview was conducted in March 2020 which went well and I was shortlisted for the client round. I was informed that due to COVID the position is on hold, however I was in regular touch with the company asking for any updates. Later, in July I was informed that the position has opened and the client interview will be scheduled soon. Then after 2 weeks of continuous follow-up it is informed that the position no longer exists as the client requirement is changed to a new position.

How can that be possible when you have already shortlisted someone for the interview and informed that there are multiple vacancies for the same post? I would strongly recommend everyone to avoid wasting time on such an organisation who doesn't care for your time and effort invested.
