If you fork out the cash for a premium room, the views are great. That said, as a hotel I was pretty disappointed.
After you check in you'll get a text message asking you how things are with your room. This seems to be entirely pointless since we told "Chris" that a light was burnt out in the bathroom and then nothing at all happened.
This isn't all that uncommon for the large hotel chains but what really took stars away from this hotel was the major construction work going on that wasn't advertised when booking our room and doesn't seem to have resulted in and discounts.
Not only are the pool and fitness center closed, but the entrance to the hotel from the parking garage and the street are both undergoing major renovations. The elevator in the parking garage is out of service and you need to use an alternate entrance into the hotel. Despite all this, you're still going to pay more than $40/night for self parking even though the lot across the street is only $10 and a little further down is $5. Also, the parking spaces are tiny; SUVs or pickups will need to take a couple of goes at it before getting parked. Added to the $400/night cost of the premium room, it starts to feel like a pretty big rip off.
Included items are the hotel basics like soap and shampoo, but if you're looking for a bottle of water or free breakfast you're going to be disappointed.
Bottom line, the views are great but you can get similar views from the farris wheel (for $12) and spend less on your accommodations.
