Carolina Arbelaez Review of Brickhouse Bridal

I went to Brickhouse Bridal this weekend Oct 19th 2013 with my future sister in law looking for a wedding dress for her wedding. She was coming all the way from Venezuela to find the perfect dress for her wedding. So I made the appointment at Brickhouse Bridal which was the same place where I purchased my wedding dress back in 2008 when I got married and I received excellent service back then.
We arrived at the place, they immediately took our information and assigned us to a consultant. At the beginning the consultant was interested in helping us but really fast, that interest was gone. She did not even ask the bride what she was looking for, or what the budget was, nothing at all. She just took us to the back of the store and pulled from the wracks three dresses that were exactly not what we were looking for. Then we explained what we were looking for and immediately she said "Sorry Guys we do not anything like that but thank you for coming". WHAT!!! Instead of showing us something close to what the bride liked. We did mentioned that she was looking for a short dress.... but not necessarily we were going for a short dress. Well, this lady lost a $3,000 sale for being terrible at customer service and for judging too quickly. I could see it on her face that she was thinking "Ohhh these girls are not going to buy anything... I am not spending my time to help them...." We end up buying a beautiful wedding dress somewhere else yesterday and we are ready for that wedding that it is this coming Friday... I know.. the bride waited too long to get her dress.
I was very disappointed with Brickhouse Bridal. I would not recommend this place to anyone any more. They are looking for a certain type of customer. The typical American White Girly Girl that looks and acts like a Barbie. Anybody else that does not fit that profile they do not help. How sad.
