My partner and I worked with Jen Heakes twice over the past year and a half. In 2014, she helped us find a fantastic new condo to rent in a unique building in the Roncesvalles/High Park neighbourhood. Jen was patient and consistently available to show us multiple properties across the west end. On that deal, we saw Jen work under a tight deadline we had to close the deal on the new lease and she delivered on all counts.

Impressed with Jen's experience, collaborative approach with her colleagues "across the table," and her friendly, patient, and helpful approach with us, we called on Jen recently to help us find a condo to purchase in downtown Toronto. Again, Jen showed us multiple properties, was upfront with what she felt were the pros and cons of each based on her experience in the market, and ultimately identified a property we loved. Jen leveraged her collaborative approach with people in establishing a good working relationship with the seller's agent and ultimately our offer was accepted in a multiple-bid situation based, we believe in part, on the strength of the approach Jen brought to the table with the seller and the seller's agent. Jen then went above and beyond in locating a separate parking/locker property in the building for us to purchase at a favourable rate and drove that deal forward under tough circumstances such that we were able to close on both the condo and the parking/locker at the same time under a tight deadline. We appreciated how she worked with our solicitor, mortgage agent, and two sets of agents on the other side to close the deal, keeping us informed at every step. We really can't say enough about Jen's service and results on our behalf. We would whole-heartedly recommend her!!
