Best way to start your day in Basel! Or to spend an idle hour reading or watching this fascinating city go by in front of you(they have a lot of outdoor sitting). 5 minutes walk from the Marktplatz, this place is open from 8 AM till midnight, and there is always something going on, first time I spotted it was when they had some social dancing in the central room. The bar offers some snacks and pastry, but the main thing is the coffee, for me, it was the best coffee I had in Basel (and coffee's bar is very high here), I tried both cappuccino, espresso and cold cappuccino version(they make it perfect!). And the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Great to have such a place in a very touristic area.
