Our surprise was great when we both got a saignant steak on our plate. It turned out that the young woman who had placed the order did not know the difference, and had not bothered to ask us about it, although she appeared self-satisfied and very compelling in her attitude towards us. So return the one steak for better baking. After about 15 minutes the steak came back, while my steak was already there for 15 minutes and I was allowed to eat it cold. She then came to ask if everything had tasted and when I told her that a cold piece of meat never really tastes, she has cleared our table with clear reluctance without any form of apology.
