Would actually not even score 1 star from me. 2 years ago I applied for Debt review, all was fine until according to their system I had paid off all debt in February 2019. A month later I was bombarded with calls from 2 of accounts that were apparently not settled in full. Phoned Debt rescue and they just said their system ran out of balance. So I had to make arrangements with Hopon loans and Bayport to settle accounts. Debt rescue now can't clear my name from debt review until those accounts are settled. Dragging this debt review to extent. I was declined on trying to buy a house all because of this mess. Not a sorry, not a solution. And the audacity to send me mails telling me that due to non-payment they are no longer attorney over my account and suspending me. Do not apply for debt review at Debt Rescue ever!!!! Over the phone they said their service is free, bull, they bill first 2 or 3 months is to cover legal cost and every month they charge an amount. Misleading. My debt was R30k and total paid was R54k over 18 months.
