Excellent. A special "Thank You!" to Dr. Yorko. I came to the office with some slight changes to my vision. My eye exam was great. No distance correction. Only a recommendation to update to a 1.50 reader. Dr Yorko highly recommended that I do an opti-photo. It was an additional cost, but she went over what can be identified. I decided to go ahead and do it, and 15 minutes later, when she was reviewing the photo she found what she thought was a retinal detachment. She called my healthcare provider and got me in for an emergency exam Ophthalmology, and 5 hours later I was meeting with a surgeon. In order to save my vision, I needed to have surgery within the next 48 hours. 48 hours later I was in Retinal surgery. It has been 4 weeks, and I am still recovering, but if Dr. Yorko had not talked me into those photos, I would have been blind in one of my eyes. Thanks to her excellent healthcare, and her prompt action, I will recover. She called me yesterday to check on me. It is just one more demonstration of her excellent skills in treating her patients.
