The hotel is lovely with beautiful grounds and staff are friendly. However having stayed here for my son's birthday it was slightly ruined as we were told no children were allowed in the pool! Toddler didn't take this well! Can only swim between 3:30-5 on weekends! If this was known we would not have booked as our search was hotels with a pool to take him on his birthday! Didn't see this info online but having searched and searched quite thoroughly, it does appear to state this in tiny writing! Easier to find that you cannot bring pets! Believe this information should be highlighted as many stay here after being to Paultons park! We even left the park early to make it in time for a swim! Disappointing!
