The tree itself I ordered last year, & it was fine & what I expected & it worked. Good. This year my spouse & I have been too busy with work & other matters to decorate. He's out of town visiting family & I thought it would be nice to surprise him with a tree glowing in the window when he came home. Set it up, turned it on - nothing. Played with the plug & the switch, then listened closely & heard the motor humming. Took the base apart & found the bulb was dead. After being used for a couple weeks then sitting stored for a year. It's an LED light. I've had $3 LED flashlights rattling around in my purse for a couple years with a longer lifespan. And of course, even if I knew where to get a replacement, nothing's open today. Last tree I had like this lasted for YEARS, I never even thought about it. I wish I still had it, but our basement flooded last year, oh well. Anyway, a word to the wise, you go looking for cheap stuff, that's what you're going to get. Now I have to go rig a solution. It's still a tree, & I can decorate it, but I really got it for the lighting.
