Midwest pool is a joke. The training cost $200 to be certified and the equipment that is used in the whole training process should not be that much. They don t even train you correctly, try Red Cross. The pay is horrible. They will not pay you the money you asked for even if they say OK to it. They will rip you off. The kids who want to be head guards or manager without any knowledge to equipment or proper usage. They yell at the kids for not knowing what pump is what or for not knowing what equipment is what . They throw kids who want to be head guards or manager without any knowledge to equipment or proper usage. They yell at the kids for not knowing what pump is what or for not knowing what equipment is what. They say call if you have any questions or if you are confused, but then they will talk behind your back saying how annoyed and frustrated they are with you. If we had the proper training and would not be an issue! They say call if you have any questions or if you are confused, but then they will talk behind your back saying how annoyed and frustrated they are with you. If we had the proper training it would not be an issue! You should also know that if you quit the company or if you were let go do NOT expect a email or a phone call to be returned to you anymore from that company. This was one of the worst companies I ve ever worked for and I m glad it was my time to leave. The yelling, the confusion, the stress, and anger that they would bring on to us was not good at all. If you can work somewhere better, please do.
